Solo learning week 2

The following coding diary is my current state. It’s as if my mind has put on a roadblock, everything that makes this journey seem hard is holding me back, this soon.

I’ve posted my story on medium, the daily comments that I write here. I have also been thinking about how best I can organize myself to code every day as this is a daily coding log.

So that was it for today, a breather to reflect on the past week and prepare for the coming week.

Also, I’m really grateful to have Y cheering me on on this journey…

I finished CSS today! woohoo!

I’m curious about HTML, delving into pluralsight to learn about its fundamentals…

This is hard…

crazy commutes, overwhelming work, family demands, dreams to reach for.

And the journey… feels like a hard mountain to climb.

Yes, this is hard. It surprises me how Y is enthusiastic about his learning and here I am trying to have the tiniest spark in learning(at this point).

Anyway, I know this stage has its cure, I also haven’t been coding much, I’m doubting myself and almost asking the dreaded question, ‘should I give up?’

I know it’s not just motivation that should or will keep me going, it's more of my WHY of wanting to learn and pushing through every day, and forcing myself (to chose to code over something more fun). Now that’s not a death sentence or a hammer on my back that will hit me if I don’t get it right. I know all this, the truth is I’m scared! What if I fail?
